Laura Peterson (Mindy) is delighted to make her debut with SSP and even more excited to be back on stage after a long intermission—turns out, life doesn’t come with a stage manager to call your cues! She’s beyond grateful to be a part of this powerhouse cast of incredible women (and one very brave man) and to be reminded just how magical live theatre is. When not basking in the glow of the stage lights, she can usually be found telling strangers her whole life story or bowling with her bowling league (she isn’t any good—she’s there for the beer). She sends many thanks to the cast, crew and creative team for such a warm welcome. “Break legs, everyone!”

Claire Rutkowski (Georgeanne) is once again so thankful to be back on stage after playing Maggie in The Man Who Came to Dinner. Her past SSP credits include Bell, Book and Candle (Gillian), Boeing, Boeing (Gloria), The Shady Lady (Madison), The Real Inspector Hound (Felicity), Our Town (Emily) and Lunch at the Akropolis (Kristin). Other Chicago credits include the staged reading of The Shady Lady (Madison) at Rhinofest 2020 and A Christmas Carol (Fan/Belinda/Want) at Metropolis. As always, she thanks her SSP family for the endless love, support and education.

Trey Sorensen (Tripp) is so excited to be back at SSP after making his Chicago debut with the company in The Man Who Came to Dinner (Richard Stanley/Expressman). His previous credits include Clue (Wadsworth) and Silent Sky (Peter Shaw) for Chequamegon Theatre Association, as well as The Nerd (Rick Steadman) and The Lion in Winter (Philip II) for The Stage North Groundlings. In addition to stage acting, he is also a filmmaker. His short film Wide Shot is set for release later this year. Though he’s northern born and bred, his mother is a southerner. He has modeled his performance in Five Women after her brother, his uncle Hugh, and is dedicating it in his honor.
